Vocals right out front which is where they should have been in the original recording and single. It would have gone top ten if Gus had bumped up the vocals and Elton had sang the lyrics a little more crisp.

I was at this show. It was at Arie Crown Theater in Chicago. And Elton hated this venue. He never played there until this solo concert and he actually threw one of his famous tantrums. After playing a few songs, he became agitated and then told the audience he couldn’t hear himself on stage and that he was overall not pleased with sound in the auditorium because it sounded flat. And then he said and I quote “I will never play here again, I’d rather play inside Lenin’s tomb.” Someone then shouted out from the audience “we love you Elton and you sound great!”

Hating myself for not knowing about this song until now. This whole show is a masterpiece. It should be relesead as those fancy remastered criterion collection or something like it.

One of those gigs you have to treasure in your mind and ears as long as memory serves you well. What a masterpiece! The best from the tour, hands down! I saw him in Barcelona in 93 and the sheer power of the first 30 minutes is absolutely ... I don't know what word to use. I still have the CDs of this boot, alongside Rainbow 77, Hammersmith 73, Sidney 84 or Kansas 83. Thanks to the uploader for bringing the memories back.
